The new Toyota Auris Hybrid eliminates the need for customers to choose between gasoline and diesel, instead providing an alternative: an efficient full hybrid with both a gasoline engine and an electric motor, giving customers the best of both worlds approach to driving.

Imagine living in a world where you can only listen to one song for the rest of your life (The Macarena… Feeling faint – ed). A world where you had to use outdated technology, such as a wired telephone (oh, the horror – ed). Well, at Toyota, we see an alternative… More after the break. With class-leading CO2 emissions figures of only 87 g/km, the New Toyota Auris Hybrid is a true innovation. Customers need no longer resign to a choice between petrol and diesel. 

The New Auris Hybrid offers customers an alternative: an efficient full hybrid with both a petrol engine and an electric motor giving customers a best of both worlds approach to driving.

 

Cable madness

Launched at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, we anticipate the sales of the New Toyota Auris range to reach an equal one-third sales mix in Europe between the petrol, diesel and hybrid models. After just 15 years, Toyota’s full hybrid technology is no longer just a niche but a genuine mainstream product.
